What is white balance?
White balance is the process that removes unrealistic colour from your photos. For example say that something was white in person it will keep the colour of the image white. White balance takes in account "colour temperature" of the light source. Which is the warmth or coolness of a white light.
Examples of White Balance
My examples of white balance
This image is the white balance of florescent. You can see there is a blue tint but it looks lighter.
The white balance of this image is daylight. A picture taken with daylight inside looks normal. These symbols are the symbols for white balance as you can see they are labelled for what each one means.
This image has the white balance of shade. As you can see it has a tint of yellow in the photo to make the image stand out more.
The white balance of this image is cloudy. Again you can see the yellow tint but it is more yellow and it makes the image stand out.
The white balance of this image is tungsten. When you look at the image you see its blue. If you were outside it would properly be best to use as you can make the sky bluer with it.
