What is depth of field ?
The depth of field is the effect the distance has on a image. If the image has a far distance it will be the aperture will be smaller if it is closer the aperture will be larger. Photographers blur parts of the pictures out. You have three types the depth of field, which are large, medium and small.
This is a medium depth of field. You can see some of the image but not all of it. This effective because you can see an amazing piece of scenery.
This picture has a large depth of field because the photographer wants you to see the whole landscape. Also it is an effective way to show scenery.
